As for Ekstrand's aquatic landscape, I'm convinced that it, her fantasy, is Xanadu. My conviction, do you see and feel it, too?

Hey you guys! It's time for another giveaway. And the items up for grabs this time are really funky - if I'm allowed to say so myself. It's the sh** just like the sound of Gwen Stefani's ♪♫♪ !

The competition is in keeping with the theme of the Alternative State of Shock post, which is all about the daring to be different (or standing for the fabulous person that you already are). Therefore I've put together a little goodie bag, with a few things I think you'd enjoy. No doubt. No doubt.

The brand, Stargazer, makes the false eyelashes that you see on the model in the image above ↑. I came across their site awhile ago, when shopping around for "gear" for the "shock shoot", and felt that they had a lot going on. So the baggie will contain 5 pieces, in different colours, of their baby hair extensions, which you'll find here.

Then, I figured, since the L.A.M.B designer's name came up, I'd throw in some samples of the perfume, Harajuku Lovers, too.

Then after that, I thought; "The hair is sorted, the scent is sorted, what's left? Nailpolish!" So, you get 4 shades of nailpolish from Viva la Diva, in similar colour shades as the rest of the other stuff.

This entry was s'posed to have gone up at the same time I posted the photo of the painting by Katarina Ringman: See below↓. But I got so ~carried away~ by my rant on hands and feet, that I forgot.

I like - no love!, this illustration because (of the afro yeah!) it showcases the extent of Ringman's "mad skillz". There's volume in the figure though there's a limited use of shading, although Ringman usually uses this effect extensively. I remember she would say that she would/could spend hours just adding light and shades onto her drawings. Yet, here, she's used a completely different technique. Effective, nonetheless.

That said, can we talk about the eyes?
