Bravo!

Photographed By Ellinor Forje

You guys. You guys! The past four days has turned me into half a stalker as I've obsessively been monitoring the sites that I visit on the daily for coverage of the collections at New York Fashion Week (long sentence, phew). A round of applause to all the designers who presented - represented. Can I get an encore?

I was especially intrigued by the brand formerly known as Marc by Marc Jacobs, that now goes by the name of uppercase letters, and its distinct seperation from the marque that is Marc Jacobs, which pretty much owes its standing ovation to Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier. And then there was, of course, Marchesa. Bijudiful. The accolades are well deserved.

That said, (I can't even begin to) imagine the amount of work involved in these productions? Trying to wrap my head around it by looking in an illustration book is like staring into the abyss. No. Seriously. A second round of applause are in order. Let's all clap our hands together.

  1. I really, really, really liked Proenza Schouler's collection. Everything about it from the prints to the updated take on the 40s inspired jackets just spoke to me. :)
