Like The Flowers Need The Rain

Photographed By Ellinor Forje

It's been raining cats and dogs here where I am, some say it's ruining the summer. But, I for one, am astonied by its mystery.

Don't get me wrong, the rain can be a pain in the you-know-what. But sometimes it's cleansing, too. Soothing. Then, the very thought of raindrops, alone, makes me want to put on a trench coat paired with a floppy hat plus some funky boots à la Camilla Norrbäck, and walk the streets of New York like it were in September. And you know what else? On a day like this, that feeling intensifies. Magnifies.

  2. I love your photos! It's been raining here as well, but then again that's not unusual for the UK! :)

  3. Can't say I am a big fan of the rain, but it does give me a good opportunity to wear my favourite leopard print rain hat.

Rainy days are perfect to stay at home and watch a movie or something. But anyway, I'm not a big fan of it :)

  6. I don't mind the rain by itself so much, it's the rain in combination with the wind which is troublesome, even with coats and umbrellas it's hard to guard against it. But I do agree that there are some rather charming rain boots out there these days...

  7. The photo made me want to walk out in the rain dressed like that. Too bad it's too hot for a trench coat in singapore :P

  10. I think I understand what you mean with this post. In the wake of everything that is going on around the world, to be reminded of the simplicity of nature, and what is pure, can be pretty awesome♥
