R To The H

Hey you! How are things and how was your weekend? Mine was pretty good. Now I'm sitting here on this splendid Sunday, trying to stay awake long enough to get a blog post up before a new horizon starts coming into view.

I spoke to soon. I'm sorry you guys, but I can't hold it much longer. I've started spelling English words with the letters å,ø, and added on Greek symbols. Time to sleep. So Immahollatchalllater.
I'm baaaack. Tomorrow is today, and let me get to it, starting with the event I attended right after I'd kicked my melancholic state to the curb: U.S. Import presents R/H.

R/H is a label from Finland created by the design duo Hanna Riiheläinen (top photo) and Emilia Hernesniemi. They held their first ever fashion show in Copenhagen, on August 5, during the fashion week.
Their line of clothing is everything I've come to like about Nordic minimalism. That is, it's understated flamboyance. And R/H do it so well. I love how've the created an unmatched haven of clothes and accessories, as for example their mountain earrings inspired by a snake's teeth, which also serves as inspiration for the print on Riiheläinen's top. Furthermore, I'm obsessed with their necklaces and camera bags. I could go on and on and on, but I'll let you have a look for yourself so that you can choose your own "fetish". 

Anyway, to wrap thing up, it's been a while since I've been this -> ☻ excited about being introduced to a new brand. In addition, I had the pleasure of meeting both Riiheläinen and Hernesniemi's parents and families, and they too were a sight for sore eyes. Amazing folks. Just like with Hanna's coat below, they merit an entire blog entry to themselves.
