Hey you, how are things, and how was your weekend? Mine was pretty good. I’m sitting here on this bright Sunday, trying to stay awake long enough to finish this before the next horizon quietly starts to arrive.

I spoke too soon. I’ve started misspelling English words with å, ø, and scattering in Greek symbols for no discernible reason. Time to sleep. I’ll catch you later.

U.S. Import presents R/H.

R/H is a Finnish label created by the design duo Hanna Riiheläinen and Emilia Hernesniemi, who presented their debut runway show in Copenhagen on August 5 during fashion week.

The collection distills Nordic minimalism into something more charged than restrained, a quiet tension running through its surfaces and silhouettes. R/H builds a distinct visual language through garments and accessories: mountain earrings that echo the sharp geometry of snake teeth, a motif that reappears in the print on Riiheläinen’s top. Elsewhere, necklaces and camera bags extend the same sense of controlled precision.

It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited about discovering a new brand. I also had the pleasure of meeting both designers’ families, who were as warm and memorable as the collection itself.
