WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND RAISED AND WHERE DO YOU PRESENTLY LIVE?
I was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria and I live there mostly.

WHAT ARE THE TOP THINGS ABOUT YOUR CITY?
It’s colourful and vibrant. People find joy despite the everyday struggle.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR BEST CHILDHOOD MEMORIES AND WHAT WERE YOUR ASPIRATIONS GROWING UP?
I was very active as a child, so some of my best memories were playing sports and performing for my friends. I always wanted to be a musician.

WHY MUSIC?
It’s fun and it resonates with people no matter how they may be feeling. Music can tell a full story in three minutes. It’s awesome.

FIRST SONG EVER SUNG?
I don't remember that at all, but probably something from Barney.

HOW WOULD YOU CLASSIFY YOUR SOUND?
I don’t really like to do that because I make a bunch of different stuff so it’s hard to even if I tried.

WHO OR WHAT HAS INFLUENCED YOU THE MOST ARTISTICALLY?
Michael Jackson and Kanye West inspire me the most.

IS THERE A SONG OR MUSICAL PASSAGE THAT NEVER FAILS TO MOVE YOU EMOTIONALLY?
I find gospel to be really uplifting. It makes me grateful and gives me hope.

WHAT IS YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS?
I’m just realizing that I prefer to write either when I’m commuting or if I’m in a studio all day. As long as I have the music surrounding me via headphones or speakers, it can come to me from any experience I’ve had or dreamed up.

DO YOU PURSUE ANY SPECIFIC THEMES THROUGH YOUT LYRICS?
Not really.

WHAT DO YOU GET UP TO WHEN YOU’RE NOT IN THE STUDIO?
I like to just scroll through Twitter or Instagram or catch up on TV shows and watch movies.

HOW DO YOU STAY CENTERED AND IN THE PRESENT?
I like to think of why I do what I do which is because of passion and to be great. I couldn’t imagine a life doing anything else
