WHERE ARE YOU RIGHT NOW AND HAVE YOU ALWAYS LIVED THERE?
I am in New York. I've been living here for 10 years.

WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND RAISED?
In Port au Prince, Haiti.

WHAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT YOUR PRESENT CITY OR HOMETOWN?
About New York, is the energy, the grind and the diversity. The best thing about Haiti is the culture, the food, the warmth and the family atmosphere.

WHAT WERE YOUR ASPIRATIONS GROWING UP?
I always wanted to be an artist, a musician, an actor and a producer. I feel blessed and grateful now that I am able to do all of them and beyond.

WHY MUSIC?
Music has always been part of my life since a very young age. My parents founded the band Boukman Eksperyans (First Haitian band to be grammy nominated). I learned a lot from them and I got my chance playing professionally with them when I was 13.

FIRST SONG EVER SUNG?
It was an original Christmas song that my parents co wrote, I was 9 years old but I can't remember the title.

IS THERE A MUSICAL PASSAGE THAT NEVER FAILS TO MOVE YOU EMOTIONALLY?
Yes. Many. One that I can think of is "emancipate yourself from mental slavery none but ourselves can free our minds".

WHY THESPIAN?
Well my Grand father Theodore Beaubrun, also known as, Languichatte, started it all. He is the most famous Haitian theatre actor/comedian. It was a natural transition from him to my dad and now me.

WHO DO YOU PLAY IN "LALO'S HOUSE"?
I did a cameo. I worked on the music as well.

WHAT'S YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS?
I don't have one. Creativity for me is life. I am able to be inspired with what is in front of me. I just stay open and let it come to me.

WHO OR WHAT HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOU?
Haiti. The culture, the music, the food, the art, the mountains and the language.

WHAT'S YOUR AESTHETIC?
I like everything. I can go from Adidas in sweats to Dolce Gabbana to vintage finds, to custom made pieces. I appreciate every type of aesthetic and I think that my style represents all of these things.

WHAT DO YOU GET UP TO WHEN YOU'RE NOT WORKING?
M kids and family - they are everything to me.

HOW DO YOU UNWIND?
I go to the park, museum, watch movies, documentaries or read. I like walking or go watch live musical shows.
