WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED RIGHT NOW AND HAVE YOU ALWAYS LIVED THERE?
I am located in MD, DMV area. I was born in Washington D.C. and lived in this area most of my life. I have also lived in Atlanta and Pittsburgh.

WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR MOST PERFECT CHILDHOOD MEMORIES?
I was born in Washington D.C. I was an army brat and I lived in the army housing. Starring in my elementary school musical was a great childhood memory. I got satisfaction from performing. I didn’t start acting for many years after that highlight.

HOW DID YOU COME TO BE AN ARTIST/CREATOR?
I was always a writer, but kept my writings private until a couple of years ago. I was giving my best attempt to a normal life, and I became depressed and unable to conform to the demands of society. I began acting in independent films to express myself. My writings were very vulnerable and mostly poetry, so it took a while for me to accept this as my style and move forward to creating visuals. I started developing projects in my own vision to highlight my individualism rather than be just an actor for the some movie. I wanted to let go of inhibition and rules and that was a wonderful feeling for me, so growing in that feeling for me became a way of life.

HOW DID YOU TRAIN FOR YOUR LINE OF WORK?
I am a passionate student advancing through experimentation and self-study. Training is jumping right in and making a project from the here and now, each project I use my available resources and develop opportunities through the chaos. I try to be well versed in key skills of film, continually learning cinematography, editing and producing. I started photography to understand what can be possible for film within the past two years. I research the technology and techniques that I can use independently.

WHAT THEMES DO YOU PURSUE?
I pursue themes with personal meaning and universal meaning. My interests are philosophical and edgy untapped subject matter that confronts hard truths.I also pursue themes around other artists and musicians.

WHAT HAS BEEN A SEMINAL EXPERIENCE?
Shooting my first film “Parallel Shift” was intensely moving for me and it opened the door for my newer work. The process and personal experience of creating the film was pivotal to my artistry.

WHAT IS “TESTAMENT OF THE SHADOW” ABOUT “THE IDEALISM OF LOVE”, ABOUT?
“Testament of the Shadow” is a film about the idealism of love according to the Jungian Shadow aspect. The film is about confronting the dark and hidden aspects of my personality so that I can be wholly liberated through the act. It is about suffering and healing within the psyche.

HOW DID YOU PREPARE FOR THE ROLE AND CREATIVE PROCESS?
Preparation was constant since receiving the vision, the story is told through body language, so I would dance and do yoga to keep my body fluid. I practiced being honest with my emotions so that I could identify and work from a sincere space.

HOW DOES YOUR AESTHETIC TRANSLATE IN OTHER AREAS OF YOUR LIFE?
I would say I have a constantly developing aesthetic. I am mostly minimalist but also nostalgic and I have also been called romantic. I like to make the best with what I have. I shop at the thrift store and enjoy nature. I enjoy strange and unusual.

ON AN OFF-DAY?
I like to cook, rest and listen to music. But ultimately I'm a workaholic and will get some work done each day. I like to spend uninterrupted time alone as much as possible.
