WHERE ARE YOU RIGHT NOW AND HAVE YOU ALWAYS LIVED THERE?
I was based in Sweden five years ago. I have been living abroad most of my time, in New York during my modeling career. But now I'm back in Sweden, and live in Stockholm.
WHERE WERE YOUR BORN AND BROUGHT UP?
I'm born and raised in Sweden, Västerås, a small town 50 minutes outside of Stockholm.
WHAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT YOUR PRESENT CITY OR HOMETOWN?
Stockholm is beautiful during the summer, the sun stays up for so long, and people are so happy.
It's a cool city with many things to see. from history to fashion and art.
The sad part is that we have two to three months when it's popping. The rest of the year, it's quite cold and dark.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FONDEST CHILDHOOD MEMORIES?
I always played soccer when I was young, so that's was my passion. A lot of childhoods memories comes from that.
Happy and sad moments when we won the league but also when we lost finals in bigger tournaments. My family were always out searching for me
because I was out so late playing soccer in different neighbourhoods, when I was upset and not home in time and preparing for school.
WHY MODEL?
Modelling happened to me; I got scouted when I was shopping for some clothes with my friends in Stockholm. Soccer was my dream.
But I'm happy for my journey and what modelling have broth to my life.
DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST EVER SHOOT?
Yes, I do, it was a test shoot with a photographer, and we were shooting some pictures in my clothes.
It was hard at that moment, and I felt a bit uncomfortable at that time. I thought it was something that I would never do for such a long time and build my name on it.
WHAT DOES YOUR TYPICAL "DAY IN THE LIFE OF" LOOK LIKE?
Starting my days around 7 am. Preparing myself for the gym after that I usually eat or make a smoothie or something while checking my emails. Depending on my schedule, if I have a shoot, meeting etc. but I always work with my skincare brand, Melyon.
WHEN AND WHY WAS MELYON FOUNDED?
Melyon was founded based on my personal story. I created Melyon to lift a minority, that is a majority globally, and showcase our values, that are inclusion and diversity, through a skincare line because I saw a lack of that. My mother always told me that it doesn't matter if you can't buy or provide yourself with the most expensive things, but you still need to take care of yourself and look proper. I think a lot of people can relate to that.
WHO OR WHAT HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOU?
My friends/family and people who became something from nothing. I like those kind of underdog stories.
It inspires me a lot.
HOW DO YOU DEFINE YOUR PERSONAL AESTHETIC?
Timeless, unique, mysterious and elegance.
WHAT BEAUTY AND HEALTH REGIMENS DO YOU SWEAR BY?
Work from the inside, and the outside will shine; and less is more.
WHAT DO YOU GET UP TO WHEN YOU'RE NOT WORKING?
Training, travelling and hang out/cooking with my friends.
HOW DO YOU UNWIND?
By thinking positive and following my inner navigator.
