WHERE ARE YOU RIGHT NOW AND HAVE YOU ALWAYS LIVED THERE? 

I am based in Paris. I’ve lived here since attending fashion school. I come from a small village situated in Eastern France.

WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND BROUGHT UP?

I was born in Vitry-le-François, a small city in the Champagne-Ardenne. It's the region of Champagne.

WHAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT YOUR PRESENT CITY OR HOMETOWN?

I am in the capital of France, the capital of art and history. It’s the best place for my trade, with quick access to fabric and accessories. The industry of showcasing is also here.

WHAT WERE YOUR ASPIRATIONS GROWING UP?

To be a creative. It started from a young age. I was always creating something with my hands, architecture, object, clothes - anything. I wanted to create, and I chose fashion.

WHY DESIGNER?

Because the body can move the creation. Fashion design exists in a different vacuum than other expressions.

WHERE DID YOU RECEIVE YOUR TRAINING?

I studied at Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris.

WHAT'S YOUR PROCESS FROM CONCEPT TO CREATION?

First to find a good theme, then determinate a colour and fabric range. I later draw sketches and make technical drawings and begin to test the details of enclosure pocket embroideries and other sartorial aspects.

WHERE DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION?

In art and movies, I love “Fantastic Mr. Fox”, and everything magical. My universe is very dark, too.

WHO OR WHAT HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOU?

Lady Gaga is a huge influence. I would watch her music videos as a teenager and my imagination developed accordingly.

HOW DO YOU DEFINE YOUR PERSONAL AESTHETIC?

I think I am a queer designer. I love extravaganza, drama, and poetry.

WHAT MOMENT ARE YOU HAVING?

Work. I live and breathe its mood.

WHAT DO YOU GET UP TO WHEN YOU'RE NOT WORKING?

Sleep.

HOW DO YOU UNWIND?

With work and music.
