Cleopatra Jones

This entry was s'posed to have gone up at the same time I posted the photo of the painting by Katarina Ringman: See below↓. But I got so ~carried away~ by my rant on hands and feet, that I forgot.

I like - no love!, this illustration because it showcases the extent of Ringman's "mad skillz". There's volume in the figure though there's a limited use of shading, although Ringman usually uses this effect extensively. I remember she would say that she would/could spend hours just adding light and shades onto her drawings. Yet, here, she's used a completely different technique. Effective, nonetheless.
That said, can we talk about the eyes?
