A couple of days ago, on August 3 to be more precise, I woke up by the rays of the sun gently tickling my nose. It was the first day of Copenhagen Fashion Week. I had my outfit picked out and my schedule all mapped out. The day was going to be perfect. Then, as I tried to move out of bed, I was hit by the most awkward sensation running through my system. You know that feeling right before you catch the flu? I remember thinking, "Oh no, I'm falling sick!" All I needed at that point was for someone to tell me that the universe was about to cave in due to an hitherto unknown planet hiding behind the sun, and be done with it.
It really wasn't anything serious though. Just a slight bug which rest combined with green tea, aspirin and a lot of water, cleared up within two days. I became cured. But, my heart was still bleeding from some of the events that I'd missed.

Oh that is so sad, when you get sick and can't do things you want. Poor poor you. But I hope you got to see a few events anyway.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment on my blog post!
ReplyDeleteYou take great photos! You have an interesting blog. I'd like to subscribe to it but it appears there's no way to "follow" you aside from subscribing through the Atom feed. It would be ideal if you also had an RSS feed through feedburner. It would be easier to track your blog for your readers. Just a tip.
