Photographed By Ellinor ForjeI found myself deliberating over what to call this post. Titles like "Saturday Night Fever," "Fame," and Irene Cara, all came to mind. This pose could easily pass for one of John Travolta’s iconic moments in the first mentioned movie, no? In the end, though, I settled on Hugo by Hugo Boss, as the outfit of the hour hails from their Spring/Summer 2012 collection.
Yesterday, I caught up with the brand’s PR team at Hotel Nimb, where they had set up camp a few hours after their show, an event I, regrettably, did not attend. In fact, this season I’ve missed nearly every engagement I had planned for Copenhagen Fashion Week. Something in the stars seems decidedly off, but more on that later.
Back to the look, I’m completely taken with it.
Admittedly, I have a soft spot for stripes in any form, but it’s more than that. There’s an undeniable disco, inflected charm in the oversized tee, the mini skirt, and that striking palette of hot pink, white, and black, effortless, playful, and just the right amount of bold.
Wowwwww the shape of the skirt is so beautiful!

Lovely skirt and the pose is amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt's so bold and graphic! Funny, I see it more as 80's than 70's disco. How lucky you are to get a preview! Thanks for including us!!! Hope the universe is kinder to you so that you can continue to be a part of fashion week - we also benefit!!
