By Any Other Name

Photographed By Ellinor Forje

I've walked past the Brethvad Gallery in Copenhagen atleast a 100 times. But, never during its opening hours. The irony, the art gallery has been situated in the same location for almost 20 years!

Having said that, the day before yesterday, was the day that I once and for all put the days of pressing my nose up against the closed Brethvad's window pane, behind me; by finally getting an up close and personal look at the beautiful red, black, bronze and white female figurines crafted by, Pernille Brethvad. They're absolute. No dispute. The human representation in any shape or size, is perfect.

  5. It reminds me of an artist "Lisa Larsson".. No to much but of the beautiful curvy proportions that are made in the sculpture
