WHERE ARE YOU RIGHT NOW AND HAVE YOU ALWAYS LIVED THERE?
I live and work in Paris.

WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND RAISED?
Born in Lorraine in the north of France, near Nancy.

WHAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT YOUR CITY OR HOMETOWN?
My city Paris, and hometown since 1985, is the best place for inspiration.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE SPOTS IN THE WORLD?
When I travel, I can be found exploring the museums, libraries, and flea markets of the world. Literature and art books both old and new inspire me.

WHY THE CREATIVE FIELD?
It's my way of challenging new ideas.

WHAT'S YOUR PREFERRED MEDIUM TO WORK WITH?
Ink is my favorite medium, and plates are my fave…

WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND TRAINING?
I graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Nancy, and then pursued a career in art direction and advertising with companies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, JWT, and Alice.

WHAT IS YOUR PROCESS FROM CONCEPT TO CREATION?
First looking for the idea, that’s the longer time in the creative process, then sketches in my sketch book, then drawing on paper.

WHERE DO YOU DRAW INSPIRATION?
Everywhere, with daylight, love to draw in my courtyard in the south of France. But, I need an umbrella for the birds.

WHAT OR WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOU?
My world is nurtured by the creativity of Grandville, Aubrey Beardsley, William Morris, Fornasetti, Eisher, Burton, and Wes Anderson.

HOW DOES YOUR AESTHETIC TRANSLATE ELSEWHERE?
Museums, libraries, flea markets. Literature and art books is all I love.

WHAT DO YOU GET UP TO WHEN YOU'RE NOT WORKING?
I still draw, this is my best "unworking," ever since I first held  pen in my hand.

HOW DO YOU UNWIND?
At home to practicing yoga. Going to the cinema, doing a workshop or dinner.
